Containment of High Speed Forces

This project explores the method of folding and form through the manipulation of cardstock into diverse folded fields, generating organic and fluid designs. The top three were selected, refined, and combined from an initial series of configurations to create a architectural construct.

Designed to serve as a Children’s Museum, Information Center, and Seaport, these structures emphasize fluidity, adaptability, and functionality. Accompanyingw the physical models are detailed drawings and transparent studies, which develop and analyze the architectural forms, ensuring a balance between structure and aesthetic innovation. This project showcases how folding techniques can be leveraged to shape versatile and organic spaces.
